Your Report
During this activity you identified your problem, high level goal and the specific behaviour you are trying to change. You can see these below.
Problem:
Eating healthy is becoming too expensive and less accessible. Rising prices of fresh and nutritious foods, along with limited availability in some areas, push people toward cheaper, processed alternatives that are less healthy.
High Level Goal:
Increase access to affordable, healthy food and support healthier eating habits.
Behaviour to change:
1. Resources & time : People don’t have the time to plan meals, compare prices, or prepare healthy food. People lack the financial resources to regularly buy fresh and nutritious ingredients. 2. Access & Environment - Healthy food options are not easily accessible in local shops or neighbourhoods. Unhealthy, cheap food is more visible and convenient than healthy options. 3. Social Norms - People believe that eating healthy is expensive and not realistic for low-income households. 4. Motivation & Habits - People choose cheaper, unhealthy food out of habit and convenience. People feel that it’s an effort to eat healthy.
