Students disengage during the second half of lectures and seminars, resulting in lower concentration, reduced participation and poorer understanding of the material.
High Level Goal:
Increase sustained engagement and active participation throughout the full duration of teaching sessions.
Behaviour to change:
Students remain engaged during the second half of sessions by avoiding unnecessary phone and laptop use, continuing to take notes, and participating in questions or discussion activities.
